Amore per Roma

Luara Biagiotti porta in passerella le icone della città eterna, valorizzando le origini di un saper fare, e di un saper vivere. Rivisita la cartina di Roma con un design ipergeometrico, la palette raccoglie l’ampia gamma delle sfumature di Roma. Toni che vanno dal rosa all’ocra dissolvendosi, fino all’arancio dei tramonti. Il bianco del travertino incontra i riflessi d’oro delle Cupole, fino ad arrivare al contrasto del chiaroscuro che finisce nel nero. Le stampe di architetture e composizioni di marmi sono impresse su chiffon, satin e panni di lana. Abiti leggeri dalla linea “a bambola” si alternano a tute con pieghe plissettate, gonne voluminose, tubini ricamati con le maniche di pelo e paletot dal sapore Sixties. Laura Biagiotti celebra la donna come colonna portante della società. Per farlo usa decori di capitelli e fusti scanalati che formano una sorta di corazza dalle geometrie sensuali e femminili. Ho apprezzato molto questa sfilata; per gli abiti, la scenografia e le musiche. Tutto si è sposato perfettamente con il mood della collezione.

Love for Rome

Laura Biagiotti brings on catwalk icons of the eternal city, highlighting the origins of a know-how, and a fine living. Revisit the map of Rome with a hypergeometric design, the palette contains a wide range of shades of Rome. Shades ranging from pink dissolving to ocher, to orange sunsets. The white travertine meets the reflections of golden domes, up to the contrast of light and shade that ends up in the black. Prints of architectures and compositions of marble are imprinted on chiffon, satin and wool cloths. Light "doll" line dresses alternate with pleats pleated bib, voluminous skirts, embroidered sheath dresses with sleeves of coat and overcoat taste Sixties. Laura Biagiotti celebrates the woman as the backbone of the society. To do that, she use decorations of capitals and fluted stems that form a sort of shell geometries sensual and feminine. I really enjoyed this show; for clothes, set design and music. Everything married perfectly with the mood of the collection.
