Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

Buongiorno bellezze, oggi vi voglio mostrare il Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch nel quale sono stata ospite a Londra. Inaugurato lo scorso maggio, questo magnifico hotel di lusso in origine era un tribunale. Quando si arriva sul posto, ci si accorge subito che l'edificio è storico, ed è molto diverso da un classico hotel. Entrando ci si ritrova davanti ad un'imponente scalinata che termina con una statua, e dal soffitto pende un enorme lampadario e l'effetto della vetrata è magico. Io, soltanto varcando la soglia ne sono rimasta incantata. Al concierge ho trovato Tommaso, un ragazzo italiano gentile e professionale che mi ha portato a fare il tour dell'hotel, raccontandomi la storia e le sue particolarità. Nel soggiorno è compreso l'accesso alla spa, dove una grande piscina con idromassaggio, sauna ed hammam sono a disposizione della clientela fino alle 22.30. Nella stanza affianco c'è una palestra davvero ben attrezzata, e gli spogliatoi con tutto il necessario per cambiarsi. Non ci crederete ma in questo hotel esiste una grandissima sala cinema con 196 posti a sedere, che entrerà in funzione prestissimo. Sorpresa delle sorprese esiste anche un bowling con due piste. Insomma in questo hotel si potrebbero trascorrere intere giornate senza mai annoiarsi. Al mattino la colazione è servita in due ampie stanze stupendamente arredate con vetrata sul soffitto, enormi specchi e comodissimi divanetti. La scelta è ampia, dal salato al dolce: io ho mangiato muffin, pain au chocolat e mini cornetti, e vi garantisco che sembravano arrivati da una patisserie francese. Un angolo molto scenografico che mi ha colpito è stato il bar che si trova alla destra dell'ingresso. Un ambiente che sembra il set di un film, dove le celle dei detenuti sono state trasformate in piccole salette per feste private. Chi non vorrebbe una location così per una festa? Per concludere c'è un rooftop bellissimo, che si affaccia su Old street e su una splendida chiesa. Qui in estate si può godere di un aperitivo relax, ma anche d'inverno questa terrazza merita una visita.
La mia camera era spaziosa, dotata di ogni comfort. Un bagno con doccia davvero grande, e bidet, cosa rarissima a Londra. Un set con bollitore per the/caffè, frutta fresca, e maxi televisore. Insomma, questo hotel merita più di 5 stelle non solo perchè è stato progettato in maniera meticolosa dettaglio per dettaglio, ma anche per la gentilezza dello staff che mi ha accolto a braccia aperte. Vi consiglio questo hotel se volete provare un'esperienza di lusso, e cercate un posto non solo elegante ma assolutamente non scontato e diverso dal solito. Ultima cosa che ci tengo a dire è ben collegato, e c'è una fermata bus proprio davanti l'hotel. Il quartiere è molto vivace, e troverete qualsiasi tipo di locale e di svago.

Hello beauties, today I want to show you the Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch who hosted me when I was in London. Opened last May, this magnificent luxury hotel was originally a court. When you arrive here, you'll immediately notice that the building is historic, and it is very different than a classic hotel. Upon entering you find yourself in front of an impressive staircase that ends with a statue, and a huge chandelier hangs from the ceiling and the effect of the stained glass is magical. Just crossing the threshold I was enchanted. At the concierge I found Tommaso, an Italian guy friendly and professional that led me to make the tour of the hotel, telling the story and its peculiarities. The reservation includes access to the spa, where a large swimming pool, sauna and hammam are available to customers until 10.30 pm. In the next room there is a very well-equipped gym and changing rooms with everything you need to enjoy the spa. You will not believe but in this hotel there is a large cinema room with 196 seats. Somewhat surprisingly there is also a bowling with two lanes. So here you could spend the whole day without getting bored. In the morning the breakfast is served in two spacious rooms beautifully decorated with stained-glass window on the ceiling, huge mirrors and comfortable sofas. The choice is wide, from salty to sweet: I ate muffins, pain au chocolat and mini croissants, and they seemed arrived from a French patisserie. An angle that struck me was the bar located on the right of the entrance. An environment that looks like the set of a film, where the cells of the detainees have been turned into small rooms for private parties. Who would not want such a location for a birthday party? Finally there is a beautiful rooftop, overlooking Old street and a beautiful church. Here in the summer you can enjoy a relaxing aperitif, but also in winter this terrace is worth a visit.
My room was spacious, equipped with every comfort. A bathroom with a really big shower and bidet, a very rare thing in London. A set with kettle for tea / coffee, fresh fruit, and big TV.
This hotel deserves more than 5 stars, not only because it was designed meticulously detail by detail, but also for the staff which has welcomed me with open arms. I recommend this hotel if you want to try a luxury experience, and if you're looking for a place not only stylish but absolutely not granted and different. Last thing I want to say is well connected, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The neighborhood is very lively, and you'll find all kinds of local and leisure.
