Il primo giorno a New York. La prima cosa che abbiamo fatto è stata prendere il traghetto per Staten Island da Battery Park per ammirare la statua della libertà. Dopo il giro in traghetto abbiamo fatto il nostro primo itinerario a piedi per attraversare Lower Manhattan passando per Wall Street fino ad arrivare al City Hall. Per pranzo ci siamo fermati a China Town (non potevo non mangiare il mio amato cibo cinese a NY) e siamo passati a vedere Little Italy (addobbata per la festa di San Gennaro). Nel tardo pomeriggio ci siamo diretti al Gotham Hall per vedere le sfilate new yorchesi di cui vi parlerò nel prossimo post.

The first day in New York. The first thing we did was take the Staten Island ferry from Battery Park to admire the statue of liberty. After the ferry ride we made our first journey on foot to cross Lower Manhattan through Wall Street until you get to City Hall. For lunch we stopped at China Town (I could not eat my favorite Chinese food in NY), and we went to see Little Italy (decorated for the feast of San Gennaro). Late in the afternoon we headed to Gotham Hall to see the parades new yorchesi which I will talk in the next post.
