Giro sui dromedari a Marrakech

State progettando un viaggio a Marrakech e volete fare un giro nel deserto? Vi racconto la mia esperienza e vi spiego quanto sia fattibile in 4 ore un giro sul dromedario con annesso the nel deserto. Tuareg Travel ha organizzato per me e Massy una fantastica gita fuori Marrakech che desideravo tanto fare. Alle 8.30 Mohamed, il ragazzo che ci ha fatto da guida, ci è venuto a prendere personalmente al Riad. In mezzora circa, con un 4x4 siamo arrivati nel deserto di Agafay. Sabbia e rocce a perdita d'occhio. Niente case, niente persone, il silenzio assoluto. Una pace che solo in questi luoghi disabitati si può trovare.

Are you planning a trip to Marrakech and want to make a ride in the desert? I tell you my experience and explain how feasible it is in 4 hours: a ride on the dromedary and a the in the desert. Tuareg Travel has organized for me and Massy a fantastic trip out of Marrakech that I was desiring so much. At 8.30am Mohamed, the guy who led us, came to take us personally to the Riad. In about half an hour, with a 4x4, we arrived in the Agafay desert. Sand and rocks at sight. No homes, no people, only silence. Peace that only in these uninhabited places can be found.

Mohamed ci ha condotti in un mini desert camp dove pastori berberi allevano dromedari (no, in Marocco non ci sono i cammelli). Dopo aver fatto amicizia con Salim e Shama (una coppia di dromedari) io e Massy siamo partiti alla volta delle dune sulle loro gobbe. I primi minuti ti sembra di essere davvero in alto, e il dondolio durante le discese ti fa salire il cuore in gola. Un'emozione bellissima essere su questi splendidi animali e lasciare il camp inoltrandosi nel deserto.

Mohamed led us to a mini-desert camp where Berber shepherds breed dromedaries (no, in Morocco there are no camels). After having made friends with Salim and Shama (a couple of dromedaries), Massy and I went to the dunes on their hips. The first few minutes seem to be really high, and the swinging down the slopes makes your heart go in the throat. A beautiful emotion be on these beautiful animals and leave the camp going into the desert.

Per nostra fortuna il sole faceva capolino solo a momenti e quindi il caldo era assolutamente sopportabile (per me addirittura piacevole). Dopo circa un'ora sui dromedari siamo arrivati in cima ad una collina con vista sulla valle, ed una tenda dove prendere il the alla menta. Mohamed ci stava aspettando li per offrirci pane e the e cantare delle canzoni marocchine. Li seduta su quei tappeti in quel luogo magico, mi sono sentita davvero fortunata. Ho ripensato a quanti viaggi io stia portando a termine, a quante avventure nuove riempiono la mia vita, ed ho amato quel momento. Posti così vissuti in quasi solitaria ti permettono di guardarti dentro, ed è emozionante.

For our luck the sun was peaking only at moments and so the heat was absolutely bearable (even pleasant to me). After about an hour on the dromedaries we came to the top of a hill overlooking the valley, in a tent where to take the mint tea. Mohamed was waiting for us to offer us bread and tea and sing Moroccan songs. Sitting on those rugs in that magical place, I felt really lucky. I have thought of how many journeys I am completing, how many new adventures fill my life, and I loved that moment. Places like this allow you to look inside, and it's exciting.

Finito il nostro break siamo tornati sul 4x4 e Mohamed ci ha riportati nel riad raccontandoci tantissimi aneddoti sul Marocco, ed è stato davvero interessante. 

Se state progettando dei tour come il mio o anche più lunghi, vi consiglio l'agenzia Tuareg Travel, affidabile, puntale, precisa e sempre online. In Marocco ho conosciuto molte persone approfittartici, quindi state con gli occhi aperti. Affidatevi a chi fa questo per mestiere, perché con il deserto non si scherza. After the tea break we returned to the 4x4 and Mohamed brought us back to the riad telling us many anecdotes about Morocco, and it was really interesting.
