Buongiorno bellezze, sono appena tornata da un meraviglioso viaggio a Marrakech, che mi ha davvero stregato. Non vedo l'ora di raccontarvi tutto, dai riad, al cibo, al deserto. Oggi però voglio mostrarvi la struttura che mi ha ospitato i primi giorni. Si chiama Riad Star, e fa parte del gruppo Marrakech Riad. La sua posizione è strategica, vicino il Museo, ed è quindi perfetto per chi vuole vivere la magia della Medina spostandosi a piedi. In questo posto visse Josephine Baker, agli inizi degli anni quaranta, e ad oggi conserva ancora il suo stile Art Deco, con alcuni elementi più moderni, pregiati arredi in legno di cedro, e intagli handmade. L'ospitalità qui è uno dei punti di forza, potrai avere qualsiasi cosa desideri a qualsiasi ora. Un esempio? Ci hanno servito il pranzo alle 3 in terrazza, e accompagnati alla stazione dei taxi nel cuore della notte. Si può desiderare di più? Qui la privacy è sacra, ci sono solo 13 stanze, e si può anche scegliere dove consumare la colazione (noi abbiamo scelto di mangiare a bordo piscina). Cos'altro potrei aggiungere? Qui vi daranno un cellulare da portarvi dietro da poter usare per qualsiasi cosa. Perdersi alla medina è più che normale, ma con una telefonata al riad risolverete il problema. Ricordate di scaricarvi l'app Marrakech Riad, vi sarà davvero utile per orientarvi in città e vedere le schede e le info delle principali attrazioni.

Good afternoon, I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Marrakech, which really fascinated me. I can not wait to tell you everything, from riads to food to the desert. Today, however, I want to show you the riad that hosted me the first few days. It is called Riad Star, and is part of the Marrakech Riad group. Its location is strategic, close to the Museum, and is therefore perfect for those who want to experience the magic of the Medina walking on foot. Josephine Baker lived in this place at the beginning of the 1940s, and still has its Art Deco style, with some of the most modern elements, precious cedar wood furnishings, and handmade carvings. Hospitality here is one of the strengths, you can have whatever you want at any time. An example? They served us lunch at 3pm on the terrace, and they take us to the taxi station in the middle of the night. Can you want more? Here privacy is sacred, there are only 13 rooms, and you can even choose where to eat breakfast (we have chosen to eat by the pool). What else can I add? They will give you a mobile phone so you can call them if you lost in medin (trust me, it will happen). Remember to download the Marrakech Riad app, it will be really useful to experience the city and see the tabs and info of the main attractions.
