La Trattoria, cucina italiana a Marrakech

Per concludere il nostro viaggio a Marrakech, abbiamo scelto di provare il ristorante italiano più rinomato della città: La Trattoria. Un elegantissimo ristorante dal gusto Art Deco, dove la cena viene servita a bordo piscina, e le lanterne illuminano l'ambiente rendendolo ancora più chic e romantico. Come antipasti abbiamo scelto il salmone affumicato alla mela e finocchi, ed una classica burrata all'aceto balsamico. Non abbiamo saputo resistere ai primi (del resto siamo italiani) e abbiamo ordinato gnocchi ai calamari, e spaghetti ai frutti di mare. Come dessert infine, un tortino al cioccolato ed un tiramisù rivisitato. Una cena davvero perfetta, dove ogni piatto della nostra cucina è stato sapientemente rivisitato in chiave moderna. Abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di ammirare alcuni disegni di Yves Saint Laurent sospesi sulla piscina, meravigliosi ed unici, esposti in occasione dell'apertura del museo dedicato allo stilista.

To end in the best way possible our trip to Marrakech, we chose to try the most renowned Italian restaurant in the city: La Trattoria. An elegant Art Deco restaurant, where dinner is served by the pool, and lanterns illuminate the setting making it even more chic and romantic. As appetizers we chose smoked salmon with apple and fennel, and a classic burrata with balsamic vinegar. We did not resist to the pasta (we are Italians) and we ordered gnocchi with calamari, and seaweed spaghetti. As a dessert, a chocolate pie and a revisited tiramisu. A really perfect dinner, where every dish of our kitchen has been cleverly revisited in a modern key. We were also lucky enough to admire some of Yves Saint Laurent's magnificent designs exposed on swimming pool, exhibited for the opening of the museum dedicated to the designer.
